(I’ve deleted the house photo for security reasons…)
The process began this weekend…..with a pound or two of a hammer, the basement walls began to crumble.

We gave HBI the first crack at the wall…

We removed one wall to make it easier to get the big items out of the utility room...the freezer, the washer / dryer etc.
From there, everything was moved out of the basement, onto the main floor, and into the garage and Shop.

I have no idea what happened to the flash in this photo, but it was the only one I took as the boxes began to pile up...
We will be out of the house for approximately 6 weeks, as the house is lifted, the foundation ripped out, and a new basement poured….
I have started a pile upstairs in the dining room of the ‘things we will need for 6 weeks’. What has struck me is, if my pile of ‘essentials’ is so small, what the heck is the rest of the junk in my house for???

PoLL: Leave your answers in the comments….
If you were packing for 6 weeks, what would you consider as ‘essentials’?
I’m not sure how much I’ll be posting through this, but I’ll work to keep you all informed!
